As the Riftguards press deeper into Horizon Labs, they uncover three multiversal plasma grenades, a multiversal detonator, and instructions on how to use them. During their search, Stormshade comes face-to-face with Dr. Egghead, swiftly knocking him out—though not before learning a warning: someone named Kang is on the way.

Meanwhile, on the fourth floor, the rest of the team successfully rescues America Chavez, but in doing so, they trigger an alarm, drawing the Supremacy leaders into an intense battle.
